- Energy Medicine, The Scientific Basis James L. Oschman. This book is a quite comprehensive discussion on peer reviewed research that has been done, especially in the last thirty years or so, on the energetic component of healing. I recently saw him present a four hour talk on this subject, and the high point for me was some thermographic images showing temperature changes along acupuncture meridians after they had been needled. You could see both the path of the meridian and major acupuncture points.
- Energy Medicine Donna Eden If you want to directly experience how you can change energetic flow in your body and what it feels like when you do that, this book is full of exercises you can do. Of course, just going to an acupuncturist (or me!) will also give you that experience
- ICAK Research Review This is a review of recent and ongoing research by members of the International College of Applied Kinesiology. This research is peer reviewed and conforms to the norms of clinical studies.
- Literature Review of Research on muscle testing A body of basic science and clinical research has been generated on the manual muscle test (MMT) since its first peer-reviewed publication in 1915. The aim of this report is to provide an historical overview, literature review, description, synthesis and critique of the reliability and validity of MMT in the evaluation of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems.
