Happiness

Client after an initial session stated in their follow up that they felt a "lift" like when they first went on antidepressants, a general sense of excitement, a sense of peace and safety at a place which that they have not experienced in a long time.

Injuries

A side impact car crash followed by second car/bicycle crash where this client was riding the bicycle left him on disability with a broken collar bone. When the break had healed the shoulder on that side was higher with the collar bone rotated up in such a way that it appeared as if it had not healed properly. After our initial session the client reported that the shoulder had dropped level within an hour of our session and that there was much less pain. After approximately six sessions the re-balancing was strong enough so that the client was able to return to his physically demanding job.

Career

A corporate executive working with me for other issues was "restructured" and their spouse was let go from their job within a couple of weeks. The client's comment was that without the work we had been doing they would have been "anxious, bordering on insanity" going through this time of change. The client has been experiencing some anxiety, but it has been mild and transitory. They stated that it has been a novel experience going through the job hunt process without being motivated (driven) by fear. They quickly obtained a better position with more pay which they attribute to having been able to remain calm and centered going through this transition.

35 year old working closely with a stressed boss / small business owner was having difficulty handling the boss's mood swings and controling behavior. We did a couple of sessions that smoothed out the reactivity and allowed this person to engage with their boss without droping into anger or frustration. The client has since been able to create an exciting job as a key member of their boss's team.
